Ryan L. Hatfield

Ryan Hatfield is an associate with Thomas, Thomas & Hafer. He is a member of the firm’s general liability practice in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office.

Prior to joining Thomas, Thomas & Hafer, Ryan served as general counsel to the West Virginia Board of Pharmacy for nearly five years. In this role, Ryan’s practice primarily focused on administrative and regulatory law regarding the regulation of pharmacy in the State of West Virginia. In the Fall of 2021, Ryan served as adjunct faculty at the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy where he taught a pharmacy law course. Before joining the West Virginia Board of Pharmacy, Ryan practiced general liability defense litigation.

Ryan attended Marshall University where he attained a Bachelor of Art in History. Upon completing his studies at Marshall University, Ryan attended West Virginia University where he graduated with a Juris Doctor and Master of Public Administration degree.

When he’s not at work, Ryan enjoys golfing, following local sports, travelling, and most importantly, spending time with his wife, son, and dog.
