Sunny Chung Lapera
Sunny Chung Lapera is an associate in Thomas, Thomas & Hafer’s Baltimore, Maryland office and is a member of the general liability practice group.
Prior to joining TT&H, Sunny worked in the digital marketing industry, as a marketing manager at one of the largest and most respected direct marketing companies located in Santa Monica, California, and then in a high-paced, demanding consulting firm, where she discovered a joy in learning the nuances of a particular business to oversee process and personnel management. She also worked as an Associate at a law firm in Howard County, Maryland.
Sunny is a 2008 graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles. She received her juris doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2019. While in law school, Sunny was named Dean’s Scholar and was also awarded the CALI Excellence Award for academic performance in Lawyering Process and Taxation of Native Americans. Sunny was also the Executive Editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal and was a legal intern for UConn Law’s Asylum and Human Rights Clinic where she obtained a grant of asylum for her client.
