Thomas, Thomas & Hafer Welcomes Two New Members to the Pennsylvania Bar

January 12, 2021 – Thomas, Thomas & Hafer, LLP is pleased to announce that Marjorie Moreno and Logan Nagle, have passed the Pennsylvania Bar Examination and have joined the firm in the Harrisburg office. Marjorie will be supporting the firm’s workers’ compensation group and Logan the general liability group. Kevin McNamara, a member of the firm’s Management Committee, commented that “We are truly fortunate to have been able to hire such bright young attorneys. Each has a strong educational foundation and charisma which will undoubtedly serve them well as litigators. We could not be more pleased to have them join our team here at Thomas, Thomas & Hafer.”
Originally from Lima, Peru, Marjorie graduated from Juniata College earning a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in International Political Economy and Spanish Literature. After college, she worked as a legal assistant for the workers’ compensation department of the Martin Law Firm in Philadelphia.
In 2020, Marjorie graduated cum laude from Widener Commonwealth School of Law and obtained a Business Advising Certificate with honors. During her study at Widener, she was a senior editor for the Widener Commonwealth Law Review and a competitor for the Widener’s National Trial Team Competition.
Before joining Thomas, Thomas & Hafer, Marjorie clerked for Saidis, Shultz & Fisher and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Leonard G. Brown, III at the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas. Marjorie authored a survey, Parking Detour: Misunderstanding the Optional Requirement for Parking Lot Cases in Workers’ Compensation, which was selected for publication in the Widener Commonwealth Law Review, Volume 30.
Logan’s practice focuses on civil litigation, general liability, and insurance defense. Logan joined TT&H after graduating from Penn State Law. While in law school, Logan focused on sharpening his litigation skills, through internships, competitions, and student organizations.
Logan completed internships with two federal judges, the Honorable Thomas J. McAvoy of the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, and Magistrate Judge William I. Arbuckle of the United States Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and was a Student Advocate with the Penn State Civil Rights Appellate Clinic. Logan was also a member of the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition Moot Court team as both an oralist and a coach, and a member of the second place defense team at the 2020 Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County mock trial competition. He was honored for his work with the advocacy and litigation programs of the school by selection into the National Order of Barristers.
