TT&H Attorneys Ben Peoples and Jeanette Ho Win Dismissal of Leg Fracture Case
December 31, 2020
On December 29, 2020, the Maryland Circuit Court for Montgomery County granted a Motion to dismiss prepared by Ben Peoples and Jeanette Ho. The two TT&H attorneys represented an underinsured motorist (“UIM”) carrier who was sued after the Plaintiff reached a policy limits settlement with the tortfeasor’s insurer. The Plaintiff claimed that the tortfeasor’s vehicle struck him while he was a pedestrian, fracturing his leg. Ben and Jeanette won a dismissal of the claim against the UIM carrier by persuading the Court that it lacked jurisdiction and that venue was inappropriate.
