February 15, 2021
Thomas, Thomas & Hafer, LLP is pleased to announce the opening of its 11th office, which will be located in the Suburban Philadelphia community of Spring House, Pennsylvania. Joining the firm in this new location are attorneys Ryan A. Palmer and Katherine M. Prudente. Palmer will lead the new office, which is the firm’s sixth office in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Todd Narvol, the firm’s Chief Financial Partner, commented, “Our clients are going to be well served by this expansion for three reasons. First, I have handled cases with Ryan and Katie in the past. They are excellent attorneys. Second, we primarily service the property and casualty insurance industry, and we take pride in our practical experience with and in the industry. Ryan and Katie further our collective experience as they both have worked in-house at insurance companies in the past and Katie holds several industry designations. Third, an office in Spring House, Pennsylvania facilitates more efficient handling of Suburban Philadelphia claims.”
Ryan Palmer previously worked as an in-house attorney for an insurance company where he supervised outside litigation and provided guidance to claims staff regarding liability claims, insurance coverage and litigation strategy. More recently, Ryan was a partner in a private practice where he represented insurers and their insureds in a variety of cases, including general liability, premises liability, automobile negligence, insurance coverage and subrogation. Ryan graduated with honors from the University of Dayton in 1999 and obtained his law degree from Widener University in 2005. He began his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Anthony J. DeFino in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County. Ryan is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
