Maryland Client Advisory: Maryland Insurance Administration Issues Penalties for Insurance Fraud

In three administrative orders issued on February 17, 2021, the Maryland Insurance Administration (“MIA”) imposed a combined total of $480,000 in penalties against five people and four companies for insurance fraud and for acting as public adjusters without a license. You can read the details here.
