Shawn M. Brothwell

Shawn M. Brothwell is an associate in Thomas, Thomas, & Hafer’s Ambler office and is a member of the firm’s general liability practice.

Before joining TT&H, Shawn practiced at a mid-sized private firm in Chester County, focusing on criminal defense and family law.  During his tenure at that firm, Shawn gained extensive court experience, representing clients in numerous counties across the state of Pennsylvania.  Shawn won successful outcomes for clients in several successful custody trials and obtained “not guilty” verdicts for clients in criminal jury trials.  Prior to his time in private practice, Shawn clerked for the Honorable Judge Jason Legg at the Susquehanna County Court of Common Pleas in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania.

Shawn is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where he was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in criminal law. Shawn graduated magna cum laude from the University of Scranton with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
