Thomas, Thomas & Hafer LLP Welcomes a New Attorney, Jeanette H. Ho, into the Firm

January 30th, 2017 – Thomas, Thomas & Hafer LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Jeanette H. Ho as a new attorney to our firm. Jeanette is a Partner in the office of Thomas, Thomas & Hafer located in Pittsburgh, PA. Her practice is in the areas of General Litigation, Appellate and Insurance Coverage.

Ms. Ho brings more than 25 years of experience as an attorney and a wealth of knowledge in the areas of insurance coverage, appellate practice and civil rights. Ms. Ho has argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Ho is a member of Pennsylvania’s Interbranch Commission for Gender, Racial and Ethnic Fairness and the City of Pittsburgh’s Ethics Hearing Board. Ms. Ho is a sustaining Fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation and a past member of the Federal Court Section Council of the Allegheny County Bar Association. Ms. Ho is also a past member of the Pennsylvania Board of Law Examiners, a past Chair of the Third Circuit Lawyer’s Advisory Committee and a past member of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania’s Local Rules Advisory Committee.

Ms. Ho has given presentations regarding Section 1983; interlocutory appeals in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit; motions practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit; employment discrimination issues relating to public employers; retaliation claims involving whistleblowers, and bad faith law in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
