Nick joined Thomas, Thomas & Hafer in December of 2020. He focuses his practice on general liability defense in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Nick’s practice mainly involves representing businesses and individuals in litigation arising out of construction defects, motor vehicles accidents, premises liability, contract disputes, and property damage.
Nick received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law where he served as Manuscripts Editor of the University of Baltimore Law Forum and was a member of the National Trial Competition Team.
Before joining the firm, Nick clerked for two judges in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. After his clerkships, Nick worked as an associate where he managed the defense of complex bodily injury, property damage, and construction defect cases. He also had the opportunity to litigate many other types of cases including wage payment violations, allegations of discrimination by employers, and mechanic’s liens.
Prior to attending law school, Nick attended Georgia Southern University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Justice Studies. Outside of the office, Nick enjoys going to the beach, working out, reading, and following the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves, and Atlanta United soccer.
