Elizabeth M. O’Connell

Elizabeth M. O’Connell is an associate in the Thomas, Thomas & Hafer’s Hampton, NJ office where she is a member of the general liability practice group.  She concentrates her practice in general liability defense for large retailers in premises liability and automotive insurance carriers.

Prior to joining the firm, Elizabeth practiced complex civil litigation for a mid-sized national Plaintiff’s firm with a focus on the Federal Employer’s Liability Act.  Elizabeth also served as a Judicial Law Clerk for three years to the Honorable Mark J. Moore in the Major Trials Division of Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.

Elizabeth graduated Law School from Temple University Beasley School of Law. She completed Temple Law’s nationally-ranked Integrated Trial Advocacy Program. During Law School, Elizabeth was a law clerk at CIBA Insurance, a subsidiary of the Allegis Group, concentrating in premises liability and landlord negligence. She studied abroad while in Law School at Temple Law’s Rome Campus, Villa Caproni, focusing on International Litigation.

Elizabeth completed her undergraduate studies at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, with a major in Political Science: Applied Public Policy.  She graduated high school from Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School.

In her free time, Elizabeth volunteers her time as an alumnae mentor at Gwynedd Mercy Academy. She also enjoys traveling, yoga, and cooking.
