Jim Swartz joined Thomas, Thomas & Hafer in 2016 where he focuses his practice in the area of General Liability.
Jim earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Bridgeport School of Law, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity and served as the Executive Managing Editor of the University of Bridgeport Law Review.
Prior to entering private practice, Jim served as a law clerk to the Honorable Donald E. Wieand of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
During his term as President of the Bar Association of Lehigh County, Jim appeared in the Emmy Award-winning production “Not Behind The Wheel,” which presented the perils of texting while driving.
A trial lawyer for 30 years, Jim has been named a Super Lawyer by Philadelphia Magazine for his work as a civil defense litigator.
