Lucas J. Duty

Lucas J. Duty is an associate in Thomas, Thomas, & Hafer’s Owings Mills office and is a member of the firm’s general liability practice.

Before joining TT&H, Lucas worked at a mid-sized firm in Baltimore County, focusing on family law. During his tenure at that firm, Lucas provided legal representation in various types of family law matters throughout Maryland, on issues ranging from custody of minor children to protective orders. Prior to becoming barred in the state of Maryland, Lucas clerked for a small private firm in Prince George’s County, which specialized in worker’s compensation law.

Lucas graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law and was a member of the Royal Graham Shannonhouse III Honor Society. Lucas was also a member of the University of Baltimore’s Bob Parsons Veterans Advocacy Clinic where he provided pro bono legal assistance to veterans seeking benefits from the Department of Veteran’s Affairs. Lucas is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations.
