Michael N. Giacopelli is a partner in Thomas, Thomas & Hafer’s New York, NY office and concentrates his practice on Product Liability and General Liability defense in the State and Federal Courts of New York and New Jersey. In addition to handling pre-suit claims and litigation in New York and New Jersey, Mike has established a national presence representing and advising large corporate clients throughout the country. With his educational and background experiences, Mike uses his skills, training, and expertise to navigate corporate clients and risk management companies effectively and efficiently through claims, pre-suit, litigation, and trial.
Mike graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Drew University before obtaining his Juris Doctor from New York Law School. Mike has also received a Masters of Science degree from Creighton University, School of Law in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution. He is licensed to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, Northern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, Southern District of New York, Western District of New York and Central District of Illinois.
Mike lives with his wife, Rebecca, two children, Emma and Nathan, and dog, Brooks in Verona, New Jersey.
