Nicholas J. Daetwyler

Nicholas J. Daetwyler is an associate in Thomas, Thomas & Hafer’s Baltimore office and is a member of the firm’s general liability practice. Nick’s practice focuses on representing insurers and their insureds in various liability and contract cases, including product liability, premises liability, construction defects, and motor tort.

Prior to joining the firm, Nick worked as an associate with an insurance defense firm in Baltimore City, where he represented public and private clients in the areas of civil and commercial litigation. During law school, Nick practiced civil rights litigation as a Student Attorney with the National Association of the Deaf.

Nick served eight years in the Army National Guard. After commissioning as an officer, he served as a Platoon Leader and later as an Executive Officer with the Maryland 115^th Military Police Battalion. During his tenure, he participated in a number of operations aimed at providing humanitarian aid, ensuring regional security, and countering drug-related activities within the United States and its territories.
