Ryan C. Blazure

Ryan C. Blazure, Esquire, is a graduate of Wilkes University and the Syracuse University College of Law.  He is a partner with the firm of Thomas, Thomas & Hafer LLP, practicing in all manner of civil litigation and workers compensation before the administrative, State and Federal Courts of Pennsylvania.  He is proud to personally represent insured persons, businesses and national retailers, as well as hospitality, commercial and utility interests.  By virtue of that representation, he has extensive trial and appellate experience.  Mr. Blazure is admitted to practice before the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, The United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, The United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, The United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and The United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Blazure is a past chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, and is currently a member of the Luzerne County Bar and Northeastern Pennsylvania Claims Associations as well as the Defense Research Institute and the Pennsylvania Defense Institute.   With DRI, he is active with the Retail and Hospitality Section, co-editing the Section’s Newsletter and serving on the Steering Committee.  With PDI, Mr. Blazure serves on the Board thereof.  Mr. Blazure previously served on the PBA’s Board of Governors from 2007 to 2010.  From 2002 to 2007, he served as the PBA YLD High School Mock Trial Program regional coordinator for the northeastern region of Pennsylvania, rising to the level of State Chair from 2008 to 2010.

Mr. Blazure is also a Certified Mediator for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

As often as possible, Mr. Blazure will present on various litigation and workers compensation topics in the form of continuing education provided to attorneys and other legal and medical professionals.

Mr. Blazure is married with two children and in his free time enjoys spending time with his family, playing bass with his church’s worship team and, when time allows, building and riding motorcycles.
