Pennsylvania Superior Court vacates judgment for Plaintiffs following appeal filed by Attorney Louis Long.
January 16, 2020
In Wenk v State Farm, the Superior Court vacated a judgment for the Plaintiffs and remanded for a hearing to determine whether the Plaintiffs’ settlement of another matter would give rise to a set-off against the damages claimed in the instant case. The Plaintiffs’ home had been damaged by some contractors and subsequent repair efforts by another contractor allegedly caused further harm to the home. Plaintiffs brought separate cases. They had settled with the original contractors, but went to trial against the subsequent contractor and the Plaintiffs’ homeowners’ insurer. The case was handled in the Lower Court by Attorneys Tom McGinnis and Tom Zumpella. The appeal was handled by Attorney Louis Long.
