Thomas, Thomas & Hafer LLP Welcomes a New Attorney, Kathryn E. Peters, into the Firm

June 4th, 2018 – Thomas, Thomas & Hafer LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Kathryn E. Peters as a new attorney to our firm. Ms. Peters is an Associate in the Harrisburg office. She has experience in Civil and Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, Professional Negligence, Professional Licensing, Corporate Law and Criminal Expungements and Pardons.
Kate received her Juris Doctor from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in 2012, graduating magna cum laude. While at Widener, Kate was a Widener Law Scholar and member of the Widener Law Journal from 2010-2012, where she served as the Executive Managing Editor from 2011-2012, and authored the published case note: Department of Transportation v. Office of Open Records: Increasing the Burden of Proof in a Right-to-Know Law Denial, 21 Widener L.J. 523 (2012).
Ms. Peters was selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, “Rising Star” by Philadelphia Magazine for 2016, 2017 and 2018. This is a distinction reserved for no more than 2.5% of young lawyers in Pennsylvania.
Kate is active in intramural sports and community development as a member of the Harrisburg Young Professionals, where she uses these experiences to connect with people in the community.
