Thomas, Thomas & Hafer, LLP Welcomes Three Attorneys to its Washington, DC Office

Thomas, Thomas & Hafer, LLP (“TT&H”) is pleased to announce that Robert P. Lynch, Jack D. Lapidus and Madeline M. Creps have joined the firm’s general liability practice group in the Washington, DC office. Commenting on the three new additions, Ben Peoples, who leads the Washington, DC office and is one of the firm’s managing partners, said: “The addition of Bob, Jack and Maddy to the firm deepens our bench in the DC metro region. We are excited to welcome them to our team.”
Bob Lynch, a partner, is a lifelong Bethesda, Maryland resident and a 1977 graduate of the Landon School. Mr. Lynch attended Villanova University and received a bachelor’s degree in history in 1981. He then attended St. Mary’s University Law School in San Antonio, Texas, and received his law degree in 1985. His years of legal experience have included a broad range of civil litigation matters, including race and employment discrimination, premises liability, automobile negligence, and insurance coverage issues related to the leased vehicle industry. Jack Lapidus, also a partner, graduated from Rutgers College at Rutgers University in 1991, and earned his law degree from George Washington University Law School in 1994. Prior to joining TT&H, Jack worked as a managing partner at a small insurance defense firm that served DC, Maryland and Virginia. He has worked in all fields of civil litigation, with significant experience in premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, torts, complex insurance coverage issues, and consumer protection litigation. Mr. Lapidus has argued before the Virginia Supreme Court, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, the D.C. Circuit, the Fourth Circuit, and in Maryland’s Appellate Courts. Madeline M. Creps, an associate with the firm, focuses her practice on civil litigation matters, including automobile, landlord-tenant, and defamation. During her law school career, Madeline worked as a summer law clerk, where she gained experience in criminal defense for juveniles and family law.
