Thomas, Thomas & Hafer Welcomes Matthew Gerarde to the Philadelphia Office

Thomas, Thomas & Hafer, LLP is pleased to announce that Matthew Gerarde passed the Pennsylvania Bar Examination and has joined the firm in its Philadelphia office.  Matt will be supporting the firm’s General Liability Practice Group. Attorney Monica O’Neill, who leads our Philadelphia office commented that “Matt brings to us exceptional skills as a legal writer and has already proven himself as an advocate for our clients.  His attention to detail and drive will make him an asset to our clients and to the firm.  We are thrilled to have Matt join our liability defense team.”

Matt originally began his career with Thomas, Thomas & Hafer as a law clerk in May of 2019.  After passing the Pennsylvania Bar Examination, Matt became an associate and a member of the general liability practice group in the Philadelphia office.

Matt graduated from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2020. While in law school, he was a member of the Ohio State law review. Matt previously interned with a solo practitioner in Columbus, Ohio, practicing business law and litigation, and also has experience from an externship with the Ohio State University Office of Compliance and Integrity. Matt obtained his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University.

Outside of work Matt enjoys working in the community and is a young professional board member of Team IMPACT, Inc.
