Thomas, Thomas & Hafer Welcomes Peter E. Schurig to its Richmond, VA Office

Thomas, Thomas & Hafer is pleased to announce that Peter E. Schurig has joined the general liability practice group in the firm’s Richmond, VA office.  Pete maintains a diverse litigation practice defending insurers and their insureds in all manner of general liability and construction disputes.  He is also recognized as a “Best Lawyer” in the area of Commercial Litigation and routinely represents commercial entities in negotiations, and at trial and in alternative dispute resolution.  Pete routinely practices in both state and federal court in Virginia and nationally, and has tried over 50 jury trials.

Before entering private practice, Pete was a JAG Attorney in the U.S. Army, serving as a trial counsel prosecutor.  He is a graduate of Virginia Tech and worked as a chemist in Georgia and California before attending law school.  Outside of the office, Pete enjoys traveling, running, tennis and spending time with his wife, Amanda, and their four children and two dogs.
