Thomas, Thomas & Hafer Welcomes Ryan L. Hatfield to the Pittsburgh Office

Thomas, Thomas & Hafer is excited to announce that Ryan L. Hatfield has joined the firm as a member of the general liability practice group in the Pittsburgh office. Ryan comes to TT&H with prior experience as a general liability defense litigator. He also has considerable expertise in the area of pharmacy law. Ryan spent nearly five years serving as general counsel to the West Virginia Board of Pharmacy, where his practice primarily focused on administrative and regulatory laws pertaining to pharmacies. In the fall of 2021, he served as adjunct faculty at the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy, where he taught a pharmacy law course.

Tom McGinnis, a managing partner and head of the Pittsburgh office, had this to say about Ryan’s addition to TT&H: “We are very excited that Ryan has joined us at TT&H here in the Pittsburgh office. Ryan is a great fit for our office and he has hit the ground running. His knowledge and experience from having lived and practiced in West Virginia before joining us will be a tremendous benefit to the clients we serve in West Virginia matters. Ryan is also admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and will be sharing his skills and talents in serving our clients’ needs in Pennsylvania matters as well.”

Ryan attended Marshall University, where he attained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Upon completing his studies at Marshall University, Ryan attended West Virginia University, where he graduated with a Juris Doctor and Master of Public Administration degree. When he’s not working, Ryan enjoys golfing, following local sports, travelling and, most importantly, spending time with his wife, son and dog.
