TTH Attorney Monica O’Neill Serves as President of Pennsylvania Defense Institute

Thomas, Thomas & Hafer, LLP (“TTH”) partner Monica O’Neill is serving as President of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute (“PDI”) for the 2020-2021 term.  Jaymie Dodd-o, a member of TTH’s Management Committee, remarked, “Our lawyers have always been leaders of the defense bar.  We are pleased that Monica is carrying on that tradition.  She is well suited for the role considering her legal expertise, management experience, and leadership capabilities.”

The PDI, which is over 52 years old, is one of the largest organizations of defense lawyers in the United States, consisting of approximately 400 members.  The PDI seeks to improve the skills of its members and the administration of justice, connects members to each other through networking opportunities, and keeps members informed of significant court and legislative decisions.

Monica stated, “I look forward to continuing the drive, imagination and decision-making that has made PDI what it is today.  It is truly an honor to have been elected as PDI President.”

Monica is the Partner-in-Charge of Thomas, Thomas & Hafer, LLP’s Philadelphia office where she represents insurers in fraud investigations and coverage matters, and insurers and their insureds in complex liability matters.  Monica received her law degree from Temple University School of Law, and her undergraduate degree from Roger Williams College.
