TT&H Attorney Rebecca Sember-Izsak Joins the Exclusive Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County

Pittsburgh Partner Rebecca Sember-Izsak has been elected to the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County.  Membership in the Academy is exclusive and by invitation only.  Candidates must be nominated for consideration by another member of the Academy who is unaffiliated with the candidate.  Candidates then undergo a comprehensive application and interview process, and must be elected by the membership.  The Academy is limited to a total of 250 active lawyers, with a stated goal of maintaining equal balance between the defense and plaintiff’s bar.  The Academy strives to improve the civil litigation process in Western Pennsylvania, both by partnering with the judiciary to improve the civil trial process and by enhancing the quality of trial advocacy.

Commenting on her election, Rebecca stated: “For me, being part of the Academy of Trial Lawyers is the most prestigious honor any defense attorney could achieve.  It is recognition by the attorneys in the bar that you are a skilled trial attorney, which is all I have worked to do.”  TT&H congratulates Rebecca as she joins her fellow TT&H partners, Tom McGinnis and Suzanne Merrick, in the exclusive ranks of the 125 defense attorneys who are Academy members.
