TT&H Welcomes Amanda N. Finney as an Associate Attorney in its Fairfax, VA Office

Thomas, Thomas & Hafer is pleased to announce that Amanda N. Finney recently passed the Virginia Bar and has become an associate in the firm’s Fairfax, VA office, where she will be part of the firm’s general liability practice group.  TT&H Attorney Lacey Conn, who leads the firm’s Fairfax office, had the following to say about Amanda: “The Fairfax office of Thomas, Thomas & Hafer is excited to welcome Amanda Finney as an associate.  Amanda worked as a paralegal for TT&H before attending law school at Temple University Beasley School of Law.  While in law school, Amanda was a member of the Trial Advocacy team, for which she was awarded a scholarship for her outstanding trial skills.  Amanda’s experience as a paralegal, and her strong trial skills, give her an advantage over other new attorneys that will greatly benefit our clients.”

As noted above, Amanda attended Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she graduated with her J.D., as well as a Certificate in Trial Advocacy and Litigation.  While in law school, she was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus and the National Trial Team, where she participated in competitions around the country.  During her third year of law school, Amanda was awarded the Edward Ohlbaum Scholarship for outstanding contributions to the trial advocacy program, and the Myron H. Deutsch Memorial Award, which recognizes graduates who excelled in the trial advocacy program.  Amanda worked for TT&H as a law clerk throughout law school, and participated in the firm’s Summer Associate Program during the summers following both her first and second years of law school.  Prior to attending law school, Amanda graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice.
