TT&H Welcomes Richard C. DeFrancesco and Shawn M. Brothwell to the Ambler, PA Office

Thomas, Thomas & Hafer is pleased to announce that Richard C. DeFrancesco and Shawn M. Brothwell have joined the firm’s general liability practice group in the Ambler, PA office.  Rich is a trial attorney who has handled personal injury and insurance claims for the past 20 years.  His practice areas include auto, premises liability, insurance bad faith, medical malpractice, professional negligence, and workers’ compensation.  Rich also has experience with appellate practice in both state and federal court, as well as experience with class actions, mass torts, ERISA matters, dram shop claims, and election law matters.  Rich is a graduate of the Villanova University School of Law and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland.

Before joining TT&H, Shawn practiced at a mid-sized private firm in Chester County, where he gained extensive court experience focusing on criminal defense and family law matters.  His past experience also includes service as a law clerk to the Honorable Jason Legg of the Susquehanna County Court of Common Pleas.  Shawn is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in criminal law.  He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Scranton, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Ryan Palmer, who leads TT&H’s Ambler office, is thrilled to welcome Rich and Shawn to the firm.  Remarking on these two new additions, Ryan stated: “We are very excited to welcome Shawn and Rich to the firm.  They are team players and a great fit to our office.  Their respective backgrounds will be valuable in continuing to provide exemplary service to our clients.”
