Four TT&H Attorneys to Serve in Leadership Positions with the Pennsylvania Defense Institute

Four Thomas, Thomas & Hafer, LLP (“TT&H”) attorneys will serve in leadership positions in the Pennsylvania Defense Institute (“PDI”) during the upcoming year. Ryan Blazure, a partner in the firm’s Wilkes-Barre office, will serve as Executive Vice President – Programming. Rebecca Sember-Izsak, a partner in the Pittsburgh office, will serve as Director representing the West District. Lou Long, also a partner in the Pittsburgh office, will serve as Co-chair of PDI’s Amicus Brief Committee. Monica O’Neill, a partner in the firm’s Philadelphia office and a past president of PDI, will serve on the organization’s board.
PDI is one of the largest state and local defense organizations in the nation, with a membership of approximately 400 lawyers, insurance company executives and insurance adjusters. TT&H has a long history of service in state and local defense organizations. The firm is home to four past presidents of such organizations, including Pete Speaker, Monica O’Neill, Lou Long and Ben Peoples, while Jack Lapidus, a partner in the firm’s Washington, DC office, is currently is the president of the DC Defense Lawyers’ Association. Ben Peoples, one of TT&H’s three managing partners, commented: “We are proud that these four partners will continue our long tradition of being leaders of the defense bar.”
