Thomas, Thomas & Hafer LLP Welcomes Attorney Justin D. Beck, in joining the Firm’s Law Practice

October 9th, 2017 – Thomas, Thomas & Hafer LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Justin D. Beck as a new attorney to our firm. Mr. Beck is an associate in Thomas, Thomas & Hafer’s Pittsburgh office. He will concentrate his practice in the area Workers’ Compensation.
Mr. Beck is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. While at the University, Justin won the CALI Award in Spring 2017’s Workers’ Compensation Practicum. Mr. Beck has worked extensively with the Honorable David B. Torrey, conducting research and writing on various projects related to the field of Workers’ Compensation.
Justin’s previous experience includes working for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, Workers’ Compensation Office of Adjudication. While there, Mr. Beck drafted findings of fact, orders, researched current and historical legal issues, and authored ABA publications. Most recently, Mr. Beck published “From the Glass Lined Tanks of Old Latrobe: 30 Years of Pawlosky,” a documentary history of Pennsylvania’s seminal 1987 workers’ compensation decision.
Mr. Beck volunteers his time assisting with the homeless, serving on the board of directors of the Latrobe Union Mission. He is also a piano and vocal artist, regularly performing shows throughout western Pennsylvania.
