Thomas, Thomas & Hafer Welcomes Shelby A. Bennett to its Pittsburgh, PA Office

Thomas, Thomas & Hafer is pleased to announce that Shelby A. Bennett has joined the firm’s workers’ compensation practice group in the Pittsburgh, PA office.  An Atlanta, GA native, Shelby relocated to Pittsburgh in 2020.  Prior to joining TT&H, Shelby worked in the medical malpractice defense field.  She now specializes in workers’ compensation defense.

Shelby received her undergraduate degree from Georgia College & State University, and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2023.  During law school, she competed in the National Appellate Competition in 2021, and chaired the Moot Court Board in 2023.

TT&H Attorney Jim Tinnyo, Chair of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Practice Group, expressed his excitement about welcoming Shelby to the firm, stating: “TT&H welcomes our new associate, Attorney Shelby Bennett, who joined the firm’s Pittsburgh office on June 28^th.  Shelby is a 2023 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.  Prior to joining TT&H, Shelby litigated medical malpractice cases for a defense firm in Pittsburgh.  Shelby will be focusing her practice on workers’ compensation matters, working with our team of experienced workers’ compensation attorneys.”
