Thomas, Thomas & Hafer, LLP Welcomes 12 Summer Associates

Starting at the end of May each year, Thomas, Thomas & Hafer welcomes current law school students to the firm where they will spend their summer break gaining important experience doing substantive legal work.  This year, TT&H welcomed 12 summer associates at an in-person, two-day orientation, where they were presented with a wide variety of information, such as an introduction to insurance and the business of law, how to succeed or fail, and how to write emails, memos, motions and pleadings.

TT&H is pleased to welcome 2024 summer associates Sophia Soifer, Kaylie O’Donnell, Kwadwo Nyardo-Baasi, Veronica Giron, Sean Raftery, Taylor Moorer, Eli Weisman, Rachel Chan, Joseph Badami, Shadwal Jha, Jared Friedman and Lesly Madera.

Sophia Soifer is a law student at Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg and will be working in the firm’s Camp Hill office this summer.  Also at Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg is Kaylie O’Donnell.  Kaylie will also be spending her summer in the firm’s Camp Hill, PA office.  Joining Sophie and Kaylie in the firm’s Camp Hill office this summer is Dickinson Law School student, Kwadwo Nyardo-Baasi.

Veronica Giron is a law school student at University of Baltimore School of Law and will be working in the firm’s Baltimore, MD office.

Sean Raftery, who also works as a paralegal for TT&H, is attending George Washington University Law School.  Sean works in the firm’s Washington, DC office.  Also at George Washington University Law School is Taylor Moorer.  Taylor will also be working at TT&H’s Washington, DC office this summer.

Temple University Beasley School of Law student Eli Weisman is working in the Philadelphia, PA office of TT&H.  Rachel Chan, a Temple University Beasley School of Law student, will also be working in the firm’s Philadelphia, PA office this summer, as will Joseph Badami, who attends Rutgers Law School in Camden, NJ.

Shadwal Jha, a law student at Temple University Beasley School of Law, will be working in TT&H’s Fairfax, VA office this summer.

University of Pittsburgh School of Law’s Jared Friedman will spend his summer in the firm’s Pittsburgh, PA office.  Also working in the Pittsburgh, PA office this summer is Lesly Madera.  Lesly attends Duquesne University Kline School of Law.

The firm’s summer associate program is led by TT&H Attorneys Joe Cardile and Matt Clayberger.  When asked about the importance of having current law students work with the firm during their summer break, Joe Cardile remarked: “As a firm that is continuously growing, we understand that summer associates are our future.  One constant of our program is that our summer associates are involved in all aspects of our law firm and perform real work.  We are excited for this year’s group of summer associates to learn and grow here at TT&H, both personally and professionally.”
